Connektivity supports Catch22 in launching
Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care

How Connektivity helped Catch22 mobilise a new victim care service across two counties at pace — going live on schedule without a single victim losing support.

We’re proud to have supported Catch22 in the successful launch of the Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care Service — a free, confidential and non-judgemental service supporting victims and witnesses of crime across both counties, commissioned by the Norfolk and Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioners.

Mobilising at pace

Catch22 was transitioning from an existing provider and needed to be confident that every victim currently receiving support would continue to do so without interruption from the moment the contract went live. With a tight mobilisation timeline, there was no room for delay.

Connektivity worked closely with Catch22 to deliver a fully customised, tested, and data-loaded myVCU platform ready for go-live in October 2025. All active and historical case data from the outgoing provider was migrated and transformed ahead of launch, giving caseworkers immediate access to every case with full historical context.

Tailored to Norfolk & Suffolk

The service had its own data capture needs distinct from Catch22’s other contracts. Connektivity worked with the team to add new data fields and tailor the platform to meet the specific requirements of the Norfolk & Suffolk contract, ensuring the system captured everything the service needed from day one in a workflow that matched how the team operates.

Automated daily ADT imports bring new police referrals directly into myVCU, while a one-way integration with the customer portal feeds incoming referrals and self-referrals into a single point of entry. Real-time reporting gives the Police and Crime Commissioners clear visibility of service delivery, case volumes, and outcomes.

Zero victims lost in transition

The overriding priority throughout the implementation was ensuring no victim fell through the gaps during the handover. The pre-launch data migration meant that not a single victim was lost or forgotten. Caseworkers could pick up every active case from day one with full context, and automated imports ensured new referrals were captured and triaged from the moment the service went live.

“Getting NSVCS live within the required timeframes really depended on a responsive and flexible way of working, and Connektivity played a key role in making that happen. The Connektivity team were consistently supportive, adaptable and easy to work with throughout.”

A partnership built to evolve

As with Catch22’s Greater Manchester service, the relationship is designed as a true development partnership. A dedicated Customer Success Manager and joint development roadmap ensure the platform continues to grow alongside the service as it matures and the needs of Norfolk and Suffolk’s communities become clearer.

The Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care Service is now live and supporting victims across both counties, with Catch22’s teams working with a system that follows their process — not one that dictates it.
